But in Telangana, two big power plants have coal for only about 3 to 4 days.
The government says they are watching the coal supplies closely and making sure power plants get what they need.
A company called SCCL is sending most of its coal to Telangana to help.
Usually, Telangana keeps coal for 10 to 15 days, but right now, it's less.
