Bangladesh hopeful of home bilateral cricket series with India
Bangladesh and India love to play cricket together, but the two countries had a problem, and the cricket games were cancelled.

Now the leader of Bangladesh has talked to India's diplomat to try to fix the problem.
Bangladesh's sports minister says they are hopeful the games can happen again.
Before this, Bangladesh did not go to India for the T20 World Cup, so the team from Scotland played instead.
A Bangladeshi cricket player named Mustafizur Rahman was also asked to leave the Indian Premier League team.
The two countries are having meetings to solve their disagreement.

Sports Minister Aminul Haque said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman discussed the series with the Indian High Commissioner to resolve the deadlock.
India were scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20Is in Bangladesh in August 2025, but the series was postponed amid rising geopolitical tensions.
The tensions follow the July Uprising, after which former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled to India; Bangladesh declined to travel to India for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup and were replaced by Scotland.
Kolkata Knight Riders were asked to release Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman, who was signed at the IPL auction.
