JSW Steel Q2 Crude Production Rises 10% Quarter-on-Quarter
JSW Steel made 72.7 lakh tonnes of crude steel in the second quarter of FY27.
That was 10% more than in the previous quarter and 5% more than a year earlier.
Most of the steel came from the company’s Indian operations.
Its Ohio operation in the United States also produced steel.
Indian operations used 88% of their capacity during the quarter.
In September, that figure was about 90%.
The company said one furnace at Vijayanagar was gradually restarting after an upgrade-related shutdown.
In the first half of FY27, total production was 1.38 crore tonnes, 4% higher than in the same period last year.
