Police Return 161 Recovered Phones Worth ₹35.54 Lakh
Police in Puttaparthi gave 161 lost mobile phones back to their owners.

Since January 2026, police have returned 417 lost phones and other devices.
Their total value is more than ₹1 crore.
The district police chief said people should report lost phones on the CEIR portal.
They should use the phone’s IMEI number when reporting it.
He also warned people not to buy used phones without original bills.
He suggested checking phones with the KYM tool and using CCTV and the LHMS app to help prevent burglaries.
Sri Sathya Sai District police returned 161 recovered mobile phones to their owners in Puttaparthi on Monday.
The returned devices were valued at ₹35.54 lakh.
