Afghanistan, Not India, Named Official Hosts for Delhi T20Is

A cricket series of short matches called T20Is is going to be played in Delhi, India.

Afghanistan will be the official host of these matches, not India.

Even though the matches are in Delhi, Afghanistan's cricket board, called the ACB, is in charge of the series.

Money from ticket sales will go to the ACB.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India, called the BCCI, will not get any share of this money.

The matches will be shown on TV by the ACB's media rights partner.

This is different from Indian home games, which are usually shown by the BCCI's media partner.

The ACB will also earn money from all the sponsors of the series, including the title sponsor.

So because Afghanistan is the official host, all the money from tickets, TV, and sponsors goes to Afghanistan.
