India Name Afghanistan T20I Squad as Samson, Bumrah Return

India has chosen its cricket team for a T20I series against Afghanistan.

Sanju Samson and Jasprit Bumrah are returning to India’s team.

Hardik Pandya is not part of the squad.

Shreyas Iyer will lead India on Indian soil for the first time.

Afghanistan is officially the host of the series.

However, the matches will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

This is the first bilateral series between India and Afghanistan hosted by Afghanistan.

It is a special series because Afghanistan will be the host nation for the first time.
