Himachal CM Promises Confidential Women’s Harassment Complaints, Strict Action

He promised that their complaints would be kept private.

He also said every complaint would be investigated.

People found guilty could face strict punishment.

Officials said 131 cases were reported during the past three years.

Action was taken in 37 of those cases.

The government has also appointed officials to handle complaints.

Women can use a portal called SHe-Box to submit complaints and check their progress.
