Delhi Police Apprehend Four Over Alleged Rape-Murder Of Teen
Police in Delhi are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl.
They say four people, including three minors, were apprehended.
Police allege the girl was sexually assaulted and stabbed after traveling with them in a tempo.
Her decomposed body was found near a field on September 13.
Police said stray dogs had eaten some parts, and one hand was separated.
Investigators followed the tempo using more than 50 CCTV cameras.
They traced it to Khadda Colony and questioned its driver.
Knives, clothes and the tempo were recovered, but police say the investigation is still continuing.
Police apprehended four people, including three juveniles aged 16 and 17, in connection with the alleged crime.
The 17-year-old girl’s decomposed body was found near Jaipal Rana’s field on Kushak Road on September 13.
Police allege the girl was sexually assaulted, stabbed to death and dumped after traveling with the accused in a tempo.
Investigators analysed more than 50 CCTV cameras and traced a suspected tempo to Khadda Colony in Swaroop Nagar.
Two knives, clothes allegedly worn by the accused and the tempo were recovered, while the investigation continues.
