Apple Redesigns Siri Icon with Liquid Glass in iOS 27

Apple is giving its apps a new look on iPhones.

The company redesigned the picture, or icon, for Siri in the newest test version of its software, iOS 27.

The new icon looks like clear, shiny glass, similar to the moving glow you see when you talk to Siri.

It is part of a design style Apple calls 'Liquid Glass.'

Siri is also becoming its own app in iOS 27 instead of just an overlay.

This app will let people see their past conversations with Siri, keep their favorite prompts, and manage smart features called Apple Intelligence.

Apple also updated the icons for Safari, Settings, App Store, Preview, and Remote.

The new look is part of Apple's plan to make its software feel more glass-like and to focus more on artificial intelligence.

The changes are still being tested in the fifth developer beta.
