Tea Stall Owner's Son Clears UPSC After Six Attempts

Ghanshyam Jaiswal grew up in a small town in Bihar, India, where his father sold tea and snacks from a cart at a bus stand.

His family did not have much money, but he loved studying.

As a child, he dreamed of becoming an engineer and going to IIT, but that dream did not come true.

So he decided to try to become a government officer through the UPSC exam.

The UPSC exam is very hard, and Ghanshyam failed it six times.

He also failed more than 10 other exams.

But he never gave up and kept studying for nearly five years.

After the pandemic, he also taught children to earn money while revising his lessons.

Finally, his hard work paid off and he cleared the UPSC exam to become an Assistant Commandant.
