Attero Expands with Rs 150 Crore Investment
Attero, a company that recycles old electronics, is growing big!
They are spending Rs 150 crore to build new factories in Pune, Bengaluru, Faridabad, and a special place in Rajasthan for recycling copper.
They also have a bigger research center in Greater Noida.
This will help them process a lot more waste and make more money.
They use robots and smart machines to do most of the work, which saves money and makes them more efficient.
Their income has been growing very fast, and they plan to keep growing by 100% every year.
They collect old electronics from people and junk dealers through their platforms, Selsmart and MetalMandi, which are available in many cities across India.
Attero is investing Rs 150 crore to expand its operations, including new e-waste recycling plants and a copper recycling facility.
The expansion will add around 1 lakh tonnes of annual processing capacity, nearly doubling its current capacity.
Attero's collection platforms, Selsmart and MetalMandi, account for almost all of its feedstock, allowing for decentralized processing.
The company is focusing on automation, including robotics-led dismantling and automated battery discharging, to improve efficiency and reduce labor costs.
Attero's revenues have grown rapidly, from Rs 280 crore in FY23 to Rs 970 crore in FY25, with a target of 100% annual growth.
