Air Marshal Felicitates 9 Women Officers After Historic Circumnavigation Voyage
Nine women officers from the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force sailed all the way around the world in a boat called Triveni.
Their trip is called Samudra Pradakshina, which means circling the sea.
They were the first all-women team from India's armed forces to sail around the world.
The journey lasted 314 days, which is almost a whole year.
They covered nearly 25,500 nautical miles across four different oceans.
It was very difficult, and they faced many physical and mental challenges.
When they returned, a senior officer named Air Marshal PV Shivanand congratulated them.
He honoured them at a ceremony in Ahmedabad, a city in India.
He said their trip shows the strength of women and how the three services can work together.
The officers also shared what they learned about teamwork, leadership and never giving up.

The officers were the crew of the first-ever Tri-Services All-Women Circumnavigation Sailing Expedition.
The crew was drawn from the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force.
