Tyson is a very brave German Shepherd dog who works as an assault dog in the Indian Army.

He belongs to a special team called 2 Para Special Forces.

During a mission in Jammu and Kashmir, Tyson led the soldiers into a hideout where terrorists were hiding.

While doing this, he got hit by a bullet, but he did not stop.

He kept going and attacked, which made the terrorists start shooting and show where they were.

Because of Tyson's brave actions, soldiers and police were able to stop three terrorists.

For being so courageous, Tyson has been chosen for a big military honour called Mention-in-Despatches.

It is a special award for soldiers who show extraordinary bravery in duty.

The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, approved many bravery awards this year, and Tyson's name is on the list.
