Police in Manipur have arrested a 41-year-old man for his role in a bomb explosion at a fuel station.

The explosion happened on January 8 in the Moirang Thana Leikai area, causing all fuel stations in the valley to close for three days.

The man was caught in Imphal West district on January 15.

He had weapons and explosives with him.

Another person, a 35-year-old member of a banned group, was also arrested earlier.

The police are still investigating the incident.
