Bengaluru police book right-wing leader over Kunal Kamra show claims
Right-wing leader booked over ‘cancelled’ Kunal Kamra Bengaluru show claims · indianexpress.com

A man named Mohan Gowda leads a group called the Hindu Rashtra Samanvaya Samithi.

He posted a video on a social media platform called X. In the video, he said a comedy show by a comedian named Kunal Kamra had been cancelled.

He also said the show was moved to a different place because some Hindu groups objected to it.

He said his group had asked the police to cancel the event.

He claimed the police promised to take action against the show's organisers and the comedian.

The police in Bengaluru said the video spread false and misleading information.

So the police filed a case against him on their own, without anyone complaining first.

Kunal Kamra was still scheduled to perform in Bengaluru from August 3 to 6.
