Bengaluru police book right-wing leader over Kunal Kamra show claims

He also said the show was moved to a different place because some Hindu groups objected to it.
He said his group had asked the police to cancel the event.
He claimed the police promised to take action against the show's organisers and the comedian.
The police in Bengaluru said the video spread false and misleading information.
So the police filed a case against him on their own, without anyone complaining first.

Gowda said his organisation and allied groups submitted a representation seeking cancellation of the event, alleging Kamra's previous performances hurt Hindu religious sentiments.
