IIT Madras and KRAFTON India Launch Gaming Academy
IIT Madras and KRAFTON India are starting a new program called KIGI Academy.
It will teach students how to make video games.
The program is free for the 30 selected IIT Madras students.
Students will learn coding, game design, user interfaces, and product development.
They will spend four months training on the IIT Madras campus.
The training will use the Unity game-making engine.
Ten students will then go to KRAFTON’s Bengaluru office for eight weeks.
There, they will create a small working version of a game.
The best students may receive full-time jobs at KRAFTON.
