DDA Announces World Tourism Day Celebrations at Baansera
The Delhi Development Authority is planning a big cultural event at Baansera.
It will take place on September 26 and 27.
Baansera is a bamboo-themed public space beside the Yamuna.
Visitors can see crafts, taste regional food and enjoy music.
Six special areas will offer games, memories and hands-on activities.
There will also be folk performances, cultural shows and magic.
The event is meant to help people enjoy Delhi’s riverfront and learn about different traditions.
The Nizami Brothers will perform qawwali at the end.
The Delhi Development Authority will hold a two-day World Tourism Day celebration at Baansera on September 26 and 27.
The event will showcase traditions in art, crafts, cuisine, music and culture through six thematic zones.
Activities will include folk music, regional performances, cultural programmes, magic shows and participative experiences.
The celebrations aim to promote Delhi as a sustainable tourism and socio-cultural hub and connect residents with the Yamuna riverfront.
The programme will conclude with a live qawwali performance by the Nizami Brothers on September 27.
