Leela Sahu Leads Seoni Protest Over Incomplete 10.50-Km Road
Leela Sahu and local villagers are protesting over an unfinished road in Seoni.
The road is supposed to connect Khandi Khurd and Gajri.
It is planned to be 10.50 kilometres long.
Sahu says about 5 kilometres has been built.
She says the rest has not been completed.
Villagers say they have been asking for the road since 2024.
Sahu also claimed that the completed part is in a Bharatiya Janata Party constituency, while the unfinished part is in an Indian National Congress constituency.
They say they will keep protesting until the whole road is ready.
Social media influencer Leela Sahu joined villagers in a dharna in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh.
The protesters are demanding construction of the complete 10.50-kilometre Khandi Khurd–Gajri road.
Sahu said villagers have been raising the issue since 2024.
She claimed roughly 5 kilometres of the road has been built, while the remaining stretch is pending.
Sahu said the protest will continue until the entire road is completed.
