Bihar Finalises Google MoU to Train Teachers in AI

Bihar’s government has made an agreement with Google to train teachers to use artificial intelligence tools.

The government says this could help teachers teach more effectively.

Bihar also plans to work with Microsoft and Sarvam AI on a larger AI system.

The state already has a digital learning platform called Bihar Vidya Saathi.

Students can use it for learning and to get help with questions at any time.

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also proposed creating a Teacher Training University and a BHU centre in Bihar.

He said school dropout rates and the number of children out of school have fallen.

An expert committee led by a sitting judge will examine irregularities in competitive examinations.
