INS Sudarshini Reaches Livorno During Lokayan 2026 Expedition
INS Sudarshini is a sailing ship used to train Indian Navy personnel.
It has reached Livorno, a city in Italy.
The ship is taking part in a long journey called Lokayan 2026.
So far, the journey has covered more than 17,400 nautical miles and 10 countries.
Before reaching Livorno, it practiced sailing and ship movements with Italy’s ITS Palinuro.
Sailors and cadets from both countries will meet and learn from one another.
People in Livorno will also be able to visit the ship.
The journey is meant to build friendship and cooperation between India and other countries.
