Constable Among Two Arrested for Double Murder of Suryapet Couple
In a town called Suryapet, a police officer and another man were arrested by the police.
The police say the two men hurt and buried a husband and his wife.
The couple had borrowed about 3 lakh rupees from the officer.
The officer said the couple was threatening him about paying back the money.
He told the husband to come with him to see some sheep he could buy.
While the husband was digging a hole, the officer hit him on the head with a big rock.
Then the officer and his friend did the same thing to the wife.
Later, people found the couple buried near a big road.
The police watched camera videos and talked to the two men, who admitted what they did.
The police also found the rock, a truck, and two mobile phones as evidence.
Two persons, including Mothe police constable MD Shareef, were arrested for the double murder of a couple in Suryapet.
The victims, Halavath Nagulu and his wife Halavath Booba, were found partially buried in an agricultural field beside the national highway on the outskirts of Mothe village.

Shareef allegedly lured Nagulu on the pretext of arranging a sheep loan, struck him on the head with a boulder, and later killed and buried Booba at the same location.
