Mumbai's Goregaon-Mulund Link Road Tunnel Excavation Begins Under National Park
In Mumbai, a big city in India, workers are building a new road that goes under a huge park called Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
The road is called the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road.
To build it, they use giant machines called tunnel boring machines, which dig tunnels like giant worms.
One of these machines is named Tulsi, and it has started digging.
The plan is to build two tunnels, each about 5.3 kilometers long.
The tunnels will connect the eastern and western parts of Mumbai.
The new road will have safety features like cameras, lights, and firefighting systems.
