Piaget’s Polo Minute Repeater Makes Luxury Chiming Loud Again

Piaget’s Polo Minute Repeater Makes Luxury Chiming Loud Again
Piaget’s new Polo Minute Repeater chimes as loudly as a conversation · firstpost.com

Piaget made a watch that can tell the time by ringing tiny mechanical chimes.

The watch is part of the company’s Polo collection.

It is very wide but unusually thin for a watch with this complicated mechanism.

The chimes are about as loud as a normal conversation.

A slider on the side makes it ring the hours, quarter-hours, and minutes.

Its blue dial lets people see some of the machinery inside.

The movement first appeared in another Piaget watch in 2013.

Some people may question calling such a large, leather-strapped watch sporty.

Piaget will make only five of these watches each year.
