Doctors Save Two-Day-Old Baby After Emergency Intestinal Surgery
A very young baby became seriously ill after a hole formed in the intestine.
This caused the baby’s stomach to swell and led to a dangerous infection.
Doctors at Aster Narayanadri Hospital performed emergency surgery.
Dr Prasanna Venkatesh repaired the hole in the intestine.

After surgery, the baby was cared for closely in the hospital’s NICU.
