The team inspected infrastructure, learning conditions and basic facilities at schools in Palashbari and Dispur.
Ashutosh Ranka shared videos showing three classes using a partitioned room with a leaking roof at Rampur LP School.
The CJP said Ranka and more than 40 members were detained for about 10 hours before being released.
The party said its planned October 2 protest demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation would proceed in Mumbai despite denied police permission.
