Meta Unveils $1,299 VR Glasses and New AI Wearables
Meta showed several new gadgets at its annual technology event.
The main product is a pair of VR glasses that will cost $1,299.
They can track where people look and understand hand movements, so users do not need controllers.
The glasses can also show virtual work screens and hologram-like video calls.
A separate device called Muse Charm will let people talk to Meta’s AI more quickly.
Meta has not announced the price of Muse Charm.
The company also announced Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses that play music and support phone calls without using cameras.
These products are part of Meta’s effort to build AI tools and wearable devices.
Meta introduced $1,299 VR Glasses featuring eye tracking, hand gestures, AI interaction and holographic calls.
The VR Glasses weigh about 100 grams, use an external computing puck and are scheduled for spring 2027.
Muse Charm is a keychain-like device for quickly accessing Meta’s Muse AI agent, with shipping planned by December.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses, which have no cameras, will launch in October for $349.
