Ahmedabad Security Guard Arrested for Raping Woman on Terrace

Ten police and crime branch teams traced Singh and arrested him around 7-8 am on Sunday near the Hebatpur area; police said he later tried to escape custody and was shot in the leg, with a police constable also suffering a bullet injury.
Police said the hiring agency prima facie failed to verify Singh's background or provide training, and strict action is planned against it; Singh has been booked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
An FSL team visited the spot, and medical examinations of the survivor and accused, along with DNA-related forensic examination, are being conducted.
