Niece Held in Rohini Robbery-Murder of Stock Investor
A man named Rakesh Khanna was found unconscious in his home in Rohini, Delhi.
His home had been searched through, and money and jewellery were missing.
Doctors later said he had died.
Police suspect his niece, Simran Taneja, helped plan the robbery.
They say she may have helped the other people enter the house.
A gym trainer and a school student were also taken into custody.
Another person, a gym owner, is still being sought.
Police have recovered some of the stolen money and jewellery, but the investigation is continuing.
Rakesh Khanna, a 60-year-old stock market investor, was found unconscious and later declared dead at his ransacked Rohini home.
Police apprehended his 23-year-old niece, Simran Taneja, along with gym trainer Chirag and Class 12 student Paras.
Investigators allege Taneja planned the robbery with associates after a prior recce of the house.
About Rs 1.5 lakh in cash and gold jewellery were reported stolen; police recovered around Rs 70,000 to Rs 72,400 and some jewellery.
Gym owner Himanshu, identified as another alleged accused, remains absconding as police investigate further.
