IIT Bombay Launches E-Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and AI
IIT Bombay is offering a new online postgraduate diploma about computer science and artificial intelligence.
Great Learning is helping deliver the programme.
Students will learn both basic computer science and newer AI topics.
These topics include generative AI, language models, computer vision and deep learning.
They will also study subjects such as algorithms, cybersecurity and big data systems.
Students must take six courses, with at least two from each subject group.
The course can usually be finished in one year, but students may take up to three years.
Classes happen online, and students also attend an in-person session at the IIT Bombay campus.
Graduates who successfully complete the programme receive IIT Bombay e-alumni status.
IIT Bombay Educational Outreach has launched an e-Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
The programme is designed and delivered by IIT Bombay faculty, with Great Learning as its EdTech partner.
Its curriculum covers computer science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, including generative AI, large language models, security and algorithms.
Students must complete six courses, including at least two from each of the two curriculum baskets.
The programme can be completed in one year or extended over three years, and successful learners receive IIT Bombay e-alumni status.
