Mizoram to Expand Ginger Farming After ‘Ginger Capital’ Recognition
Mizoram is a state in India that grows a lot of ginger.
In 2025, NITI Aayog called it the “Ginger Capital of India.”
The state government now wants farmers to grow even more ginger.
It also wants to help farmers grow sunflower, sesame, toor dal and mustard.
