Rangoonwala Introduces Career Plus Programme Alongside Dental MDS Training
A dental college in Pune has started a new programme called Career Plus.
It will run for three years along with postgraduate dental education.
The programme gives students extra supervised practice in modern dental technologies and procedures.
These include imaging, implant planning, laser procedures and microscope-assisted work.
Students will also study oral cancer risks and how suspicious mouth lesions are diagnosed.
They will learn how doctors, laboratories and other healthcare professionals work together.
The programme includes lessons on running a dental practice and making a business plan.
It is included in the training of Oral Medicine and Radiology and Oral Pathology students.
Students in other dental specialties can choose to join it.
M.A. Rangoonwala College in Pune has launched Career Plus, a three-year advanced training programme for postgraduate dental students.
The programme offers supervised experience in CBCT reporting, implant planning, laser procedures, oral oncology and operating-microscope procedures.
Career Plus is built into MDS Oral Medicine & Radiology and Oral Pathology training, while students in other MDS specialties may opt in.
