84 Religious Organisations Register Online For Simhastha Kumbh 2027
Many religious groups have signed up to help people during the Simhastha Kumbh Mela in 2027.
So far, 84 organisations have completed an online registration process.
Most of them are from Nashik district, but some are from other parts of Maharashtra and India.
The groups expect more than 4.48 crore visitors and over 8.15 crore overnight stays.
The government may provide infrastructure support of up to ₹15 lakh to eligible organisations.
However, no money has been approved or given yet.
Officials will now visit and check the organisations and their needs.
The collected information will help authorities prepare services for the large crowds.
Eighty-four religious and charitable organisations have completed online registration to serve devotees at the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.
The Nashik-Trimbakeshwar authority received applications from August 19 to September 3, 2026, using a QR code-based single-window system.
The registered organisations include 45 Sansthans, 13 Ashrams, 12 Akhadas, six temples and five Maths.
Seventy-one organisations are from Nashik district, while 13 are from outside the district and Maharashtra.
Officials will verify the organisations and use the registration data to plan crowd management, healthcare, sanitation, traffic and Sadhugram facilities.
