Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going to New Delhi for two days.

He plans to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union ministers.

He will ask for approvals for projects such as the Vizag metro and a beach corridor.

He will also request financial help because El Niño has contributed to drought-like conditions in his state.

The meetings will cover ways to use Godavari River floodwater and plans to link rivers.

Naidu will also seek Central support for the Godavari Pushkaralu pilgrimage next year.

He is expected to discuss a horticulture project too.

On Thursday, he will attend a business conference event before returning to Amaravati.
