Some students were bitten by a snake at a special residential school in Maharashtra where tribal children live and study.

In all, six students were bitten.

Sadly, three girls died because of the snakebite.

The three other students were taken to the hospital.

One of them is a 14-year-old girl.

She had surgery on her brain to help her get better.

But an official says she is still in a very serious condition.

The school is in Japtalai village, in the Gadchiroli district.

Everyone is hoping the girl gets well soon.
