Chhatrapur MLA Funds E-Scooters for Persons With Disabilities
Some people with disabilities in Chhatrapur needed easier ways to travel and work.
They asked MLA Krushna Chandra Nayak for help.
He decided to use Rs 54 lakh from his local development fund.
This money is being used to provide 54 three-wheeler electric scooters.
Twenty-four people received scooters on September 17.

Twenty-four three-wheeler e-scooters were distributed on September 17, 16 days after the funding commitment.
The beneficiaries include people using vehicles for livelihoods, commuting, businesses and bodybuilding activities.
The initiative followed requests made at the Bhima Bhoi Divyang Camp in Chhatrapur on September 1.
The remaining 30 e-scooters will be distributed when fresh stock becomes available.
