Tripura Provides Aids to Over 100 on Modi’s Birthday
More than 100 older people and people with disabilities received helpful equipment in Tripura.
The equipment included tricycles and other aids.
The event took place in Mohanpur on Wednesday.
It was held to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
The program used two government schemes that support senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Minister Ratan Lal Nath said people should be helped to live independent and dignified lives.
He said government benefits should reach everyone.
He also spoke about programs for bank accounts, cooking gas, sanitation, housing and drinking water.
More than 100 senior citizens and persons with disabilities received aids, devices and equipment in Mohanpur, Tripura.
The assistance included tricycles and was distributed at a Samajik Adhikarita Shivir on Wednesday.

The camp was organized under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana and Assistance to Disabled Persons schemes.
