Khajrana Ganesh Temple Donation Count Underway, ₹72 Lakh Collected

There is a very famous temple in Indore called the Khajrana Ganesh Temple.

Many people visit it every day to pray.

Visitors put money into special donation boxes at the temple.

Once in a while, the temple opens these boxes and counts all the money.

Right now, the temple is doing that big counting job.

So far, they have opened 17 boxes and found ₹72 lakh inside.

That is a huge amount of money.

The temple has 40 boxes in total, so the counting will take a few more days.

To keep the money safe, the counting is watched by CCTV cameras and filmed by a videographer.

Earlier in March, the temple counted ₹1.35 crore from boxes that had collected donations for four months.
