Honor's Robot Phone debuts in China with pop-out gimbal camera
Smartphones are mostly the same now.
A company from China called Honor made a new phone nicknamed the "Robot Phone."
It has a robotic arm that pops out from the back.
The arm carries a camera that can move in all directions to take smooth videos.
The phone can also act like a robot assistant when you wave your hand.
Its camera was made with help from ARRI, a famous movie-camera company.
The phone takes really good photos and videos, so it might replace both your phone and your action camera.
It is very fast and has a big battery.
But it is expensive and only sold in China.
Honor's "Robot Phone," a China-exclusive Android phone, features a pop-out motorised gimbal camera on a robotic arm.
The robotic arm can be activated manually or by gestures, turning the phone into a robotic personal assistant via the Yoyo app.
It packs a 200MP main camera co-developed with ARRI, a 200MP telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide with smart-tracking modes.
Specs include a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 7,060mAh battery.
Priced at 9,999 yuan ($1,483) for 12GB RAM and 12,999 yuan ($1,923) for 16GB, it competes with the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
