In a city called Hyderabad, some people had built or placed things on roads and footpaths where they were not supposed to.

These are called encroachments, and they can block people from walking safely.

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, which is the group that takes care of the city, decided to clean these areas.

They did this on a Friday as part of a weekly program called 'walk free.'

In one day, they cleared 290 encroachments across a very long stretch of 14.1 kilometers.

The work happened in three different zones: Serilingampally, Kukatpally and Quthbullapur.

The teams removed the most encroachments, about 150, in the Quthbullapur zone.

All this cleaning helps give the roads and footpaths back to people who walk.

The corporation says it will keep watching these areas so nobody builds on them again.

The goal is to keep roads and footpaths clear, accessible and safer for everyone.
