Canadian-bred falcon fetches $346,000 at Saudi Arabian auction

At a big event in Saudi Arabia, people sell falcons to buyers.

This weekend, a young falcon from Canada was the star of the show.

Someone paid $346,000 for it, which is more than most houses cost.

It was the most expensive bird sold at this year's event.

It was also the second-highest price ever paid at this yearly event.

The falcon is called a gyr super white falcon.

It was raised on a farm in Ontario, Canada, called Jim Wilson farm.

The sale happened on the seventh night of the auction, near the city of Riyadh.
