They caught 923 drivers in total.

Hyderabad police recorded 397 cases on September 11 and 12.

Cyberabad police caught 292 people over the weekend, and Malkajgiri police caught 234 during the week.

Most of the Hyderabad cases involved two-wheelers.

Among those cases, 143 involved people aged 21 to 30, and 168 had blood-alcohol readings between 51 and 100 mg/100 ml.

Courts handled hundreds of the cases, including jail sentences and fines.

Police warned that causing a fatal crash while drunk can result in serious criminal charges and prison.
