Bangladesh Approves Shooting Team for India Championship
Bangladesh has allowed a small team of shooters to go to India for a big shooting competition.
The team includes one shooter named Robiul Islam and one coach named Sharmin Aktar.
They will travel to India on January 31, 2026, to compete in the Asian Air Gun Championship, which will be held from February 2 to 14.
The competition will take place in a secure indoor venue in New Delhi.
This decision comes after Bangladesh did not allow its cricket team to go to India for a different sports event, the T20 World Cup, due to security concerns.
The shooting championship is expected to have around 300 shooters from 17 different countries.
