IndiGo to Stop Chennai-Reunion Flights from October
Chennai loses another international connection as IndiGo to stop Reunion flights from October · thehindubusinessline.com

IndiGo, an airline, started flying from Chennai to Reunion Island in April.

They had three flights a week at first, but then reduced it to two.

Now, they are stopping these flights completely from October 22.

This is because of changes in the market and the operating environment.

IndiGo says they might start flying to Reunion again in the future, maybe in 2027.

Passengers who have booked tickets will get their money back.

This is not the only route IndiGo is stopping.

They have also suspended flights to six other places because of high costs.

Other airlines like Air India and Thai AirAsia have also reduced their flights.

Chennai airport has seen a decrease in international flights compared to last year.

Air India is planning to start flying to Singapore from Chennai again in September.
