Karnataka Plans Public School in Every Gram Panchayat
Karnataka wants every Gram Panchayat to have a Government-run public school.

Karnataka had 309 Karnataka Public Schools when Bangarappa took office, with 1,000 more planned in coming years.
The schools aim to provide integrated education from pre-primary through class 12 in Kannada and English.
The government plans to introduce AI-related learning, compulsory computer education from Grade 1, and smart classroom technology.
Bangarappa said the ministry is working to recruit more than 70,000 teachers and address shortages of computers and other resources.
