Local Juniors Reach KSLTA World Tennis Tour J30 Bengaluru
The KSLTA World Tennis Tour Junior J30 Bengaluru tennis tournament has reached its semifinal stage.
Several young players from Bengaluru performed strongly.
Aahida Singh won an important match against third seed Disha Kumar.
She won both sets by 6-4.
Aahida will next play Zoha Qureshi.
Shreeniti Chowdhury and Vasundra Balajee also reached the girls’ semifinals.
In the boys’ event, top seed Tejas Ravi won a close match against Shlok Chauhan.
Tejas will play Niyanth Badrinarayanan, while Fazal Ali Meer will play Vivaan Mirdha.
Aahida Singh upset third seed Disha Kumar 6-4, 6-4 in the girls’ singles quarterfinals.
Aahida Singh will face Zoha Qureshi, who advanced after Bawyasri Asr gave a walkover.
Fourth seed Shreeniti Chowdhury defeated Riddhi Shinde, while sixth seed Vasundra Balajee beat Akshita Antil.
Top seed Tejas Ravi defeated Shlok Chauhan 6-4, 7-6(5) to reach the boys’ singles semifinals.
The remaining boys’ semifinal will feature Fazal Ali Meer against Vivaan Mirdha.
