NSE, BSE to Remain Closed on September 14
Stock market holiday: Why NSE, BSE will remain closed on September 14 · businesstoday.in

India’s two main stock exchanges will be closed on September 14 because it is a market holiday.

Before the holiday, stocks had a difficult Friday.

The Sensex fell slightly and ended at 74,781.76.

The Nifty also fell and closed at 23,398.10.

Both indexes had dropped more during the day but recovered much of those losses.

Some companies, including Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and HDFC Bank, gained.

JSW Steel and Hindalco Industries were among the biggest losers.

Analysts said the Nifty may find support near 23,230.

They also said 23,600–23,620 could be a difficult level for the index to cross.
