Kavitha Launches Nationwide Push for 50% BC Reservation in Legislatures
Kalvakuntla Kavitha is a leader of a political party called the TRS in India.
She wants the government to give people from Backward Classes more chances to be part of the government.

If the deadline is missed, the TRS plans a 1,000-car 'Chalo Delhi' rally, followed by a national review meeting on August 6, 2027.
The resolutions also seek Bharat Ratna for Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule, passage of the Women's Reservation Bill, and rights for Adivasis, Sikh, Christian and transgender communities.
