Google Cloud and Accenture Launch On-Site AI Engineering Unit

Google Cloud and Accenture launched a new unit focused on placing AI engineers on-site with customers.

Accenture already had forward-deployed engineers before the group was formally established.

Accenture typically deploys one or more teams, known as pods, inside customer organizations.

The pods include engineers, industry experts, process experts and data experts.

These teams work with internal IT departments and increasingly with functional leaders such as chief financial officers.
