A man in Bhogapuram allegedly had a disagreement with a mechanic over a motorcycle payment.

The motorcycle reportedly cost Rs.11,500.

The man, Yella Rajesh, allegedly took the motorcycle but did not pay for it.

On Saturday night, the mechanic and another person allegedly took Rajesh to a mechanic shed.

He was reportedly kept there overnight and beaten.

On Sunday, they allegedly tied him to a scooter and dragged him along a road.

Police arrived and spoke with Rajesh.

Five people were arrested in connection with the incident.

A case was filed under a law protecting Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, along with other legal provisions.
