New DCCB Branch Opens in Varigonda for Farmers
A new cooperative bank branch opened in Varigonda.
MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and DCCB Chairman Mettukuri Dhanunjaya Reddy opened it.
Farmers from three nearby cooperative society areas can now use banking services closer to home.
Other members of the public can use the branch too.
The branch will offer different kinds of loans and locker facilities.
The chairman said Nellore DCCB has a turnover of Rs 3,000 crore.
He also said it serves 62 lakh farmers.
Cooperative banks now provide more services than only crop and long-term loans.
Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy inaugurated a new DCCB branch in Varigonda on Thursday.
The branch will serve farmers in the Peduru, Thotapalligudur and Krishnapatnam PACS areas.
Services will also be available to the general public, including loans and locker facilities.
Nellore DCCB Chairman Mettukuri Dhanunjaya Reddy said the bank has a Rs 3,000-crore turnover.
The DCCB provides services to 62 lakh farmers and offers loans beyond traditional agricultural lending.
